Terms of Service

This document has no effective date yet — see the notice above.

Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Alcove, a practice agrees to these terms on behalf of itself and the staff it authorizes to use the service.

Description of service

Alcove provides practice management software for therapy practices, including booking, telehealth session setup, AI-assisted documentation, a client portal, secure messaging, and billing.

Accounts

A practice is responsible for the accuracy of the information it enters, for keeping its staff accounts secure, and for the actions taken under its account.

Acceptable use

Use of Alcove is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy.

Clinical responsibility

Alcove's AI features assist a clinician in drafting documentation; they do not replace clinical judgment. A clinician remains responsible for reviewing and approving any AI-drafted content before it becomes part of the record, and for all clinical decisions made in the course of care.

Fees and payment

Fees are billed according to the plan a practice selects. Payment processing is handled by our payment subprocessor — see Subprocessors.

Termination

Either party may terminate an account as described in the practice's order form or by written notice. On termination, we will make a practice's data available for export for a reasonable period, subject to any applicable retention or legal hold obligations.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. Liability terms will be finalized as part of legal review of this document.

Changes to these terms

We will post any changes to this page and provide notice as appropriate.
